Since the election I have been stuck in the never ending emotional cycle of, “we are all doomed!”, “that’s not true, I can fight back!”, “yay! we are making progress!”, “we are all doomed, I’m going to just eat ice cream.” I know a lot of people feel this way. A few months ago I was fortunate enough to work with Joss Whedon on a project that helped put me in the “that’s not true, I can fight back!” category for at least a few days. It was released yesterday and I hope everyone watches and shares this video.
Planned Parenthood is an essential organization that provides healthcare for many women and men who can’t afford it. They are providing factual, sexual health education that is severely lacking in many of our schools. They are providing health services and screenings that are otherwise inaccessible to many people who are struggling financially. We must continue to support them.
