The word is out and so is the trailer! So excited to finally talk about my role in the upcoming Pearl Studios and Dreamworks Animation film, Abominable, opening September 27th!
I voice Yi’s mother. My daughter Yi (Chloe Bennet), finds a Yeti on the run in the streets of Shanghai and decides to take it all the way back to its home in the Himalayas with the help of her two close friends. On their journey they deal with their own fears, doubts, and facing the emotions of losing her father. This family-friendly action adventure travels from the bustling streets of the city into the gorgeous mountains and forests of China.
I’m so proud to be a part of this film as it centers around a strong female lead, not a damsel in distress. In addition to its fun pop soundtrack it also showcases original violin compositions with sweeping melodies, something rare in animated films. The whole cast is incredibly talented and audiences are going to have such a great time. See for yourself in the trailer below!
